There is no denying the fact that keeping pets is a hotly debated topic today. Some people claim that keeping pets is a good thing to do. They believe that pets, like cats and dogs, can help relieve the loneliness suffered by senior citizens and other social members who are confined to their homes for this reason or that. They also argue that keeping pets helps mankind understand animals' world and develop positive feelings toward them.

Others, however, hold the opposite view. They regard keeping pets as a useless but harmful thing to do. Firstly, pets can transmit diseases. Secondly, the noises and dung of pets are sources of pollution. Last but not least, as many rare birds and animals are kept as pets, they will surely be hunted on a large scale, which means a threat to the balance of the ecosystem.

Weighing the arguments of both sides, I am inclined to agree with the latter. Anyway, we can lessen our loneliness and express our love toward animals in other ways. And it is my beliefs that only by placing man and other species on an equal basis can us expect to have a lively and colorful world.

The world people love, some people love gentle cats, some people love cute dog, there are people who love...... Of course, I also have their own love, it is a small turtle.

The little turtle can come to our home for a long time, is when my mother bought, then only palm so big, now a lot of long, like a bowl. We have four stay together morning and night for five years, I love it very much.

The little turtle had green, like a jade carving out, very delicate. On both sides of the head has a pair of black bean like small eyes, bright crystal very divine. Behind its eyes, there was a pair of small ears that were not easy to see. Below is a triangle's mouth. The small tortoise has a sharp small tail, strong four feet, long toenails on his feet, and webbed between the toes. Its shell is divided into polygonal blocks, each of which has a pattern of patterns, and together to form a beautiful pattern, very strong. The most characteristic is that it has a pattern under the stomach, and it is "back". It looks like an ancient shield, very chic.

At ordinary times, small tortoises often lie on the bottom of the water to rest, a lazy look. But if there is a little movement, it will be panicked, with his head, limbs and tail in its shell, like a small football. When I feed the turtle to feed it, it will also move. Turtle food not into the water, it can't wait, head out so far, swim, when turtle food into the water, a small turtle with a foot lightly, then smell a fragrance, then Dakoutaikou chewing up. After the meal, it began to play, in a few moments in the water to stir up a few flowers, and then into the sand in the bottom of the water to catch and hide.

Small turtles are particularly hygienic. One day, because I was in a hurry to go to school, I forgot to exchange water for it, I rushed home and rushed to the fish bowl, only to see the tortoise gathered together. I was happy and touched it gently. It looked at me with a crooked head, as if saying, "I'm cleaning up, what are you doing?" It's really fun.

I really like my cute little tortoise, we spent a lot of good time together.

His two big ears perked up really high like a bird's wing, but air. Sometimes also shake his tail to show your tongue with me, where I went with it, really like a small heels. I patted him on the head, it is licking my fingers, I feel itchy. Lovely!

But he has time, low head, let me feel very strange, but I dou dou it his mood suddenly. This is my dog barked. It is very cute!

Dogs belong to the canine.

When a dog follows its nose,it's actually being led by thee key senses.Sight:a glimpse of the enemy saves them barking up the wrong tree.Sound:a bark can be a fierce threat, but it's also how canines make their long distance calls.Smell:this tells a dog more than all the other senses put together.

Inside its nose are around two hundred million smell sensitive cells, forty times more than in humans.Through them the dog's brain can pick up signals from one molecule of scent in a million. It gives the dog:a completely different picture of the world, based on what it smells, rather than what it sees.

Flowers are irrelevant to a dog.So their scent is meaningless. But food is a serious matter. What to us is an empty plate,is covered with the smell of chicken to a hungry dog.

Animals Need Protecting

Animals are natural resources that people have wasted all through our history Animals have been killed for their fur and feathers for food for sport and simply because they were in the way Thousands of kinds of animals have disappeared from the earth forever Hundreds more are on the danger list today About 170 kinds in the United States alone are considered in danger

Why should people care? Because we need animals and because once they are gone there will never be any moreAnimals are more than just beautiful or interesting They are more than just a source of food Every animal has its place in the balance of nature Destroying one kind of animal can create many problems For example when farmers killed large numbers of hawks the farmers' stores of corn and grain were destroyed by rats and mice Why? Because hawks eat rats and mice with no hawks to keep down their numbers the rats and mice multiplied quickly

Luckily some people are working to help save the animals Some groups raise money to let people know about the problem And they try to get the governments to pass laws protecting animals in danger Quite a few countries have passed laws These laws forbid the killing of any animal or planton the danger list Slowly the number of some animals in danger is growing

The dog! Where? Where is it? Don't scare me. What I fear most is the dog!

You don't know, there's a mad dog downstairs. Yeah, I don't know where it came from.

This mad dog is mad, and it's the one who rushes on at the sight of a man, whoever it is. At that time, I seldom went out, and I didn't know that it existed before I had the "dog chasing ten streets" (wiping a bitter tear)

I went out to buy a snack that day and walked away with a hum. But there was a pair of eyes staring at me. I looked left and right. No, there are so many people! But their sympathy, the frightened eyes of what's the matter! I gulped a mouthful, turn the head to see, the sky! Dog!! I looked at the fanged black dog and ran away without saying anything. The dog gave a cry and ran after me. I ran as hard as I could, and she chased me with all my might. That's it. It's been chasing me ten blocks. Finally I climbed up the tree to embrace half life.

So from now on, don't give me dog, not to say dog!

Dear classmates,

As we know, some animals are dying out for various reasons. There is no doubt that animals are our friends. With World Animal Day coming near, what should we do to protect animals?

First of all, we should forbid peoples killing animals at random. Second, we should do all we can to protect animals living environment. With their living environment destroyed, the animals will become extinct sooner or later. Third, we should try our best to make everyone realize the importance of protecting animals. In a way, protecting animals means protecting ourselves.

Dear classmates, lets start now and make every effort to protect animalsour good friends!
